So I added a clam to my tank yesterday and he looked fine. The mantle was full and the siphon and mouth were visible. Today it looks like it's hot happy. It is more closed up than I would like a new clam to be. Water paramaters are very good:Alk 10, Ca 420, temp 78, ph 8.1, no nitrates/nitrites
Should I be worried yet?

How did you acclimate it? What kind of flow do you have around it? What fish and inverts do you have? How old is your tank?

Tank has been up around 6 months. I have a diamond goby, male pink square anthias, 2 female pink square anthias, clown tang. For cleanup crew I have blue legs, red legs. The flow is what I would consider low due to only using the return for current. It's a Mag 9.5 on a 90g tank. The clam went in the same day as the anthias and clown tang

It might just need time to adjust. If your parameters are stable and no livestock is nipping at it, the only thing you can do is give it time. It also might need to adjust to your lighting.
