Hi. We’ll just added the new derasa. Was hoping for a squamosa but things got lost in translation…another story. But here she is. Tiny Avenger. A lot of growing to do but up for the task. Rip Big Beastie.

that Derasa there I had written off, it developed an opening in the mantel, opened poorly, and for a week or two I was about the pull it out and keep it from dying in the tank.

little by little it improved and now it is back and growing

12-14 months in tank

That’s what I had read, it just was not ready yet… knock on wood
yes sir. I saved the big derasa from pinched mantle w a fresh water dip buffeted to temp alk and ph. Works. But she went fast this time. Still idk. Tiny Avenger has a big shell to fill
