New duncan

So I just got my first duncan and it is doing great.eats shrimp and has been looking gorgeous. I was just wondering how fast do they grow and mine looks like another head was cut off and just wondering if a new head will grow from that cut

Yeah, that is funny they did it like that. Typically, they will grow baby heads from around the main head, then start branching out. I have never seen my heads split (like a hammer, for example).

Mine grew quite fast. I bought a single head in June last year and within just a couple months i probably had 3 or 4 heads with a whole bunch of babies. It sprouted probably 6 babies at a time. Now almost a year later it's the size of a small fist.

The more you feed, the faster they will grow.
