You can clearly see it's sponge in the video.
If you look closely at the picture you can see flesh covering the steucture/whatever it is. While it looks like a spnge...the flesh is coveting it which I've never seen a torch do to a sponge.

Got the video to load.

While the steucture isn't covering the rock it does have flesh growing on it.

Yes the tenticles are shrunk in that area.

OP has it been growing for a while or did it just happen to show up one day?
Now that you blow it up, could be.

If thats happening, then it may be polyp bailout. I have seen euphyllia "drip" during a polyp bailout.
Possibly...I've had torches get growths like this but much much smaller.

It's like it grew an extra finger and it's just waving in the wind.

Watch the video?

In the video you can clearly see there is no flesh growing around it, it's just kind of hanging off the skeleton.

Some the the tentacles are actually closed up/shrunken in around it, which leads me to believe it's sponge.
I want to grab it tweezers and tug a little. It's definitely not part of that torch. It moves in the flow. Get a piece of it.

Still think it's sponge.

Have you reached in and felt it?

it does seem to be part of the flesh though. Just never seen any euphyllia do this without it loosing it's head eventually.

It's definitely part of the flesh now that you can see it better.

This "dripping" usually coincides with loosing the head, but yours looks quite healthy.

I would just keep an eye on it, and if the tentacles start shrinking up, it may be on it's way out.

Yeah, otherwise, it's really healthy! It's front and center in the tank so I'm constantly watching it.

Update for everyone... The protrusion has receded and had a few small fleshy pieces fall off. Only a little bit of it is left on the torch itself. Torch still looks beautiful and very healthy. Guess this one resolved on it's own! Thanks for all your input!
