got a new filefish shipped, its an aiptasia eating filefish and i had just put it in 3 hours earlier and now i noticed that its laying on its side on the sand, all the other animals seem fine, is this normal

They can do that when stressed. What was the salinity it was shipped in versus that of your tank? Too much of a rise between those two numbers can be extra stressful…

Be sure no other animals pick on it while it is down.

its fine now, but ive noticed thats its like side fins has like white paste on it and it looks like skeleton, what is that?

Is it any eating food yet?

The thinness might be dessication from having gone from low to high salinity, or it was just really thin from the dealer.

You’ll need to post a clear video of it under white light for us to say what might be wrong with it.
