Good morning, my tank cycle is complete and I added 1 clown fish to the tank and was going to slowly build to not shock the system.

But since the clown has been in the tank (yesterday afternoon) it has stayed in the same spot of the tank towards the top. Is it still adjusting? Or could the flow be to strong preventing it from moving “freely. “ I turned power head off.

25g peninsula Waterbox. Just standard pump of what it came with

Staying at top, could range from, difficulty breathing (is he gasping/ breathing fast?) to he thinks you're going to feed him

I find new clowns often go to the corner until they feel at ease. My 2 clowns live in their corner for more than 4 years now. Its normal.

Turn your powerhead back on, flow is good for a tank, let the fish get used to it now. It will acclimate, don't worry.
