Here's a couple new pics. Taking with phone. This is the best I can get. I'm literally holding the orange filter glasses in front of the lens.Need a better pic of the first one, second one is porites I think but a better pic would help.
I think those are both entrusting montipora like Montipora australiensis or something similar, though im less sure on the blue one.Here's a couple new pics. Taking with phone. This is the best I can get. I'm literally holding the orange filter glasses in front of the lens.
Thats a frogspawn coralAlso picked up this.
Thanks for the help. The yellow green Monti isnt growing on the rock. The only thing holding it in place is the frag plug. Hollow underneath so I would assume it's of the plate variety or maybe while it was smaller it had nowhere to go but out?I think those are both entrusting montipora like Montipora australiensis or something similar, though im less sure on the blue one.
@tbrown
Frogspawn, not Octospawn. Both are also Fimbriaphyllia, not Euphyllia (Euphyllia is also a genus, not family; family is Euphylliidae)I don’t know in 1&2 but 3 looks like an octospawn, part of the Euphyllia family.
Not sure either. here is a much better pic.The orangish one looks like a sunset montipora.
The purple/green one maybe a cyphastrea? Or, possibly the base of an acropora without any branches.
Other one is frogspawn for sure
