New gen 6 radion help

Bought a brand new radio xr30 today gen 6.

Mounted it with hanging kit, went to plug it in and no light comes on. At first the blue indicator light was half lit, dimly lit if you will. Tried a different outlet, nothing, did another outlet and the blue light comes on the power supply, still not light from the led itself.

Tried disconnecting the par where the radion plug meets the plug from power being, you hear a flick, see a minor spark, still no light.

Brand new out the box, any suggestions?

I would call Ecotech during business hours. In my experience, they are amazingly fast once you reach someone.
