Hello Everyone,
I'm Travis,
I just signed up to reef2reef forum because I got tired of bugging the fish store guys (TJ from Petsmart & Allen from The Aquarium) Basically, I just started my 1st saltwater tank (25 gal) 3 months ago and I feel like I am on top of the world now, Since I can finally buy fish, coral etc… I have 2 clowns, 1 yellow tang, 1 blenny and a bunch of inverts such as, 5 variety snails/hermits, 2 crabs & 1 Shrimp. I know my yellow tang will have to go after he gets larger but I really wanted him.
My equipment is kinda basic. I have a fluval filter, Eheim heater, Fluval Aqua Sky LCD light, circulation pump and I am waiting for a Protein Skimmer to come in the mail. I just bought a basic air stone Protein Skimmer for $10 off ebay.
I wont use the air stone it came with though, I'll use a good one. I'll also throw out those cheap suction cups it comes with. I think it should do the job, I guess we'll see!
Some pics of my setup:
I'm waiting to buy more coral. So far I have a little rock of Polyps and a single mushroom head.
I'm excited to be on this forum and look forward to chatting about your tanks!
