Hi, My name is Dale, from Scotland. In March I picked up my fish ever aquarium! Never even had a gold fish bowl when i was younger. Go big or go home I suppose!

I have until now been fully reliant on youtube, my LFS ( who are excellent ) and facebook pages for advice and help but am growing tired of the constant competition to see who can spend the most money and constant unnecessary criticism of people tanks on Facebook. I have been told from a number of people that this is THE best place for help.

I have a FOWL tank at the moment but am planning on upgrading ( shock horror ) in the near future.

Any help I can get from here on future posts is much appreciated!

Have you even considered buying real lighting? You'll need to spend at least $3,000 more if you're at all serious. I run the 2019 AlphaDog Controller and persian silk filter socks. Maybe you'll be able to keep mushrooms and zoas alive... probly not.

Welcome!!! I've spent some time in Scotland and I have one question...what's that shining through the window? Looks like sunlight. :) Great lookin setup (gotta love Red Sea) and great looking gallery. Why call it anything esle when it's most like a museum gallery to view fine works of art?
