I bought a new hammer coral 4 days ago and it has yet to open up at all. I used Revive to dip it in and acclimated it for about 30 minutes. My plan is to have a hammer garden eventually, so I put it next to my other hammer where they tentacles can't yet reach each other now but can eventually as they grow. Even though my older hammer seems to be very healthy, this hammer came from a store that basically had no flow at all in their coral displays. I haven't glued this hammer down yet just in case but there really is no spot in my tank that has zero flow. It's actually in a spot furthest away from my one water circulator (which might be too strong for this tank). My lights at that spot are 82par.

1.026 salinity
8.1 pH
10kh
0 ammonia
0 nitrites
5 ppm nitrates
1 ppm phosphates

This is a 75g stocked only with a blue chromis, tuxedo urchin, and cleaner shrimp.

It's probably just adjusting to your tank water. Sometimes it could take up to a week for it to open up.
