Hey! Im just getting back in to the saltwater after a 10+ year break and attempting 2 reefs for the first time!

I bought a used 150 gallon setup with tank, stand, sand, sump and pump then I built a hood that goes to the ceiling for a "wall" look.

I also bought a 29 gallon biocube around the same time for a phantom clown-fish pair/mini reef.

I had a temp spike 83-85 about 10 days ago and I think my encrusting gorgonia is dead. What do you all think?
