Found this little guy after the lights went out on a 4 week old tank. Coral safe? He's right on the glass close to the sand. Thanks!

Excellent! I'm a little paranoid about finding strange anomalies in my tank. Putting the cultured rock in there I knew there would be a few hitchhikers. Also just found what looks to be a spikey serpent starfish. He hid in a hole when I tried to grab a pic. Any starfish I need to be concerned about? Thanks again!

It's hard to tell just looking at the underside of this beast! But my guess is a Stomatella....does it have a partial little shell on the top side?

I looked at it again and from what I've can see us that it doesn't have a shell.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
