Welcome to the world of saltwater, better yet welcome to the world of Reef2Reef! Ree2Reef is the worlds largest saltwater aquarium online platform and an amazing place to dive deep into information and reach out to people in the hobby that could possibly answer your questions!

Another great site to find dedicated reefers is on YouTube! I myself have started to grow my own channel in this past year and have had a lot of fun doing it! My channel could help you out in your introduction to the hobby, and honestly you could pick up some tips and tricks along the way! Hope you get a chance to check it out, and once again welcome to R2R!

Hey welcome.. !! do you use Ro-DI water ? Keep up on the water changes ...
I’ve only used distilled water, haven’t done a water change yet. Ammonia/nitrates are 0, nitrates 5, ph 8, water is always 1.025, and temp is usually 77-78deg. I’m guessing my first water change will be soon.

So I always wanted a saltwater tank but always assumed it was too much work. After reading up on it and having a relative that has multiple tanks I thought I’d give it a shot. After my tank cycled I first bought a banggai , then 1 clown, and lastly a yellow watchman goby. Hoping to start with some beginner soft corals this week, probably Gsp isolated on a rock. As of now my gear is a:
20g long glass tank
Tidal 35 filter
Hydor nano 240
Viparspectra light
Heater I purchased at pet

looking forward to reading up on the forums and learning.
Welcome!
