New Icecap gyre problems

I just got an icecap gyre 2k yesterday. I got home from work, plugged it in and it seemed to work fine, though the app wasn't of to good of quality. I was trying to get it dialed into something less than a monsoon in my 40B, it was getting late, so I unplugged it. I come home today and I cannot get it to work for anything. It won't connect through the app and the lights flash through and countdown through the colors and then repeat. I've unplugged a million times, deleted it from the app and attempted to start from new, but now it just seems to not exist. I tried using my wife's phone with the same outcome. Anybody have any idea?

I’m sending it back. I read through the coralvue website and tried to push the “reset button” on the side of the control, which appears to be an empty hole. However, it does smell like burnt electronics now. So far, not impressed at all with the controller or app. Hard to say about the pump, because it appear to be decent upon inspection and for the 30 minutes it worked.

Did you ever figure this problem out? I got my unit this week, had trouble to get it off idle but now its idle again overnight for no reason and I can't get it back online, $250 and I can't believe its not working point of sale
