Well here is my table and 35 gallon container. The set up is temporary till i get my 55 gallon tank and all the plumbing.

My wife got to do the aqua scape. It was the trade off for her letting me get a tank. The tank is narrow. It really makes it a challenge. But she did ok. Only thing i said was i have to have room to clean the glass

My cat rip my old mesh screen from innovative marine so rn I put egg crate and on top of it the screen I totally recommend these ai hydra 26hd . Totally worth it . Tank is a month old . I had the black boxes . And hated the simple options. 26’s produces great spectrum and T5 look . Great growth.

Tank is officially wet! Put in a bottle Dr tims one and only. Have some more bacteria coming from indio Pacific. Figured why not try different strains of bacteria. Also ordered there coraline booster. It comes with small peices chipped off their stock. Now the painfull wait begins.

Everything is coming together quite nicely!

With the 3D printed piece on the back chamber inlet, does that allow for high levels of water in the tank? Or what purpose does it serve? I’m asking as I have a IM 25 Lagoon.

It raised the water up to about a inch under the screen. Its adjustable so you can move it up and down.

Do you have the spin stream nozzles on your tank?

Interesting. I might have to look into getting a set. How are you liking them so far? (3D)

I don’t have the spin stream, I have the RFG returns. They seem to work quite well with the upgraded return pump.

I love them puts the water level where it should be. What pump did you go with?

I have the one it came with maxed out. Think its to small.

I went with the Sicce 1.5. Fits perfectly in the back chamber and has the perfect amount of flow. I think I have it 50%, though, as I have a power-head as well.

Almost a week into my cycle. Just patiently waiting, and waiting. I dosed ammonia up to 2 ppm and 24 hours later its at .5ppm. So its coming along nicely.

Ok so here are my water parameters after 2 weeks. Ph 8, ammonia .15ppm. Down from 2 ppm last night. Nitrites 0, nitrates 40ppm, phosphate 0. This is my first time cycling a tank so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Want a fast cycle is using biospira. And ammonia from dr Tim’s. My tank cycle in 2 days.i would dose 2ppm ammonia and it clear in 12 hours or less. I added two clownsfishes and bunch of corals after week one. .had my tank for 1 month and a half . Everything is running great. No signs of stress or no ammonia. Keep dosing ammonia so the bacteria can double . Dose 1ppm. Each time.be carefull on not to stall the tank. You will see the bacteria grow . It’s like white string.
