. You guys thing my sand from 15 gallon would be fine for 20 gallon? It's only been running for about 3-4 weeks. Thanks, Jay.

So funny. I literally just did the same thing. Like a month ago. Couple week old 15 corals only - cycled w old biomedia and rock - running IM15 cube and upgraded to the 20.

Moved bio media, rock and corals to rubber bin w old tank water…scooped sand into new tank. Added a bit more and then put everything back in. Sand so new no real mess of old bacteria and detritus to worry about.

Everything transferred and was fine after 24 hours. Added more coral and fish that week. Good luck!

Got eager and started to transfer before work lastnight.

I'd love to do a rescape like yours soon. As I add more acros id want more available rock. Yours is looking super clean
Thank you! Took a couple of hours to finally decide on this scape. You find out quickly how limited you are with 20 gallons.

Got the new 20 gallon up and running with no hiccups. Zoas are a little angry, but starting to open. I was going for a more open scape because I want minimal equipment in the tank display. Running the might jet 326 on 1.5 setting, I still have a wave maker from 15 gallon if I need more flow down the road.

. Just a little tank update. Zoas and duncan settling in. Also added a small clean up crew along with a baby frostbite clown. Not to crazy about the hygger wave maker because I can't seem to dial it in, so I pulled the trigger on a Nero 3. After watching multiple videos, the Nero appears to be more user friendly.

Received my Nero 3 and placed on my tank. This litte pump moves alot of water, but pretty easy to dial in. I did do some rearranging of the rock scape, it gave me more flow throughout the rock work.

I have to put a filter pad behind mine because snails would find their way into the blades from behind. however because so much water is moved by it, the filter pad gets dirty within a week and i toss it and put in a fresh one just have a big old roll that I cut to size

That's a good point. It did come with a gaurd for the back of power head I need to add.
