Hey all - I recently bought a "frag pack" with 10 LPS, and I have no idea what most of them they are.... I paid 10 bucks each for these. I'm assuming they're mostly "beginner" frags, and that's just what I wanted. Names are important to understand how to fully care for them.

Any help you're able to provide on ID for any of the pictures inline here would be greatly appreciated! I have marked the one I think I know...but I'm pretty dang new here.

Note that params on 3/28 were NO3 5-10 (salifert), PO4 - 0.03 (hanna), sg 1.026, ph 8.1, temp 78, cal 380 (salifert), mg 1325 (salifert). The green on the plugs is an outbreak of Euglena I am dealing with. I have a thread in the pest ID section on this topic. Thought I'd mention before anyone flames me about the green stuff. Tank has been online since October, but just added corals about a week ago. So far, they look happy.

1. Leptastria?

2. Alveopora

7. Chalice (Miami Hurricane?)

8. Blasto?

Note - the 10'th one is a cyphaestrea, so I didn't post a pic.

Thanks ahead of time for any help you can offer!

i agree with fishguy except id say 8 is war coral
and 6 id say chalice.
Thanks!

If you look at #8, the red splotch in front of the other one is 100% a war coral. They look different to me. Color of the red is more purplish, and the mouths are brighter green. Maybe a different color morph of war coral?

I could be totally wrong but to me the frag plugs look like they have dinos on them
The tank is going through a bloom of a protist called a "euglena" at the moment. Similar to dinos, and they bubble a bit, but I've verified with a microscope that they're not dinos. I have a thread in the pest identification section if you're interested.

Here's what they look like under the whites:

And here is what they look like at 400x:

9. Could you take another pic? Its a little hard to determine since we can’t see the polyps well.

9. A couple of possibilities; bernardpora, stylocoeniella

its a frogspawn. cant help with saying whats wrong with it besides making sure your tank is in line with salinity, lighting, parameters, and flow.

@Alexopora @Simsung @MasonK24 @fishguy242 @Angeleyes reefraf - Here are a few additional pictures from overhead under blues and whites:

Hmm, still a little hard to determine for 9. but judging from the shape its frag, it looks like a encrusting sps. Unless if you could lift the coral up and take a pic of it close to the surface, I can’t say for sure. Still most probably a stylocoeniella or bernardpora as the polyps look a little too big to be a porites or monti.
