Sharing my journey with a brand new H. Magnifica from @gig 'em. It's beautiful, but a bit ticked off from the shipping.
If you don't know, @gig 'em treats all his Magnificas to full health. I reached out to see if he had any, and he did! Expertly packaged and shipped super fast (probably got to my hands from him in less than 15 hours).
Given this guy has been healthy in a tank for awhile, I don't think I'll need to treat with cipro, and will just need him to be acclimated to the tank well. For now I'm going to keep him in a QT until sunset.
I have Cipro on hand, and ready for full treatment if needed. I'm hoping this thread will be a quick and easy one.
Drip acclimating, showing guts. What would you score this @Amoo @OrionN ? :
In summary, next steps:

In summary, next steps:
- Finish 1 hour drip acclimation
- Change DT water out and put into QT tank
- Remove mag from acclimation container and put into QT tank and observe for 6 hours
- Score the mag at that point and then dose cipro if needed, otherwise put into DT
- Display tank water
- MJ400 with plenty of screening in the inlet
- Heater
- No light, but right next to my display tank, 1.5 feet off the floor.
