Hello I’ve just purchased a mangrove propague (I think that’s how it’s spelled) but I’m not sure if this placement is ok or if I should move it around and to where. Also what difficulties could I come across with it over time any advice is appreciated

If I am not mistaken the leaves of the mangrove need high light. because of the way your light is mounted you may need a fixture just for the mangrove.

Oh so perhaps position the leaves under the light would be a good idea?

Mangrove requires high light. You can either have Red Mangrove or Black Mangrove. Mangrove need organic nutrients and high light.
My 2.5 yo Black mangrove in my sump. It is very cramped but about 2'X2'X2'
