New Marineland 60g cube

everything from the 45g is now in the 60 cube....sorry for the pic quality;)

Lookin good!
Thank you! Everything was really tight in the 45g so at least the corals have room to grow now:)
I have the canister from the 45g running as well as the sump for now and I will continue to test every day for any ammonia spike. Any other suggestions?

Best bet is to get an ammonia badge from Seachem so you don't need to check. Assuming everything was done right, you should be good

9 days in the new cube...had a very small ammonnia reading today.025 API master test kit, did a eight gallon WC...
Thought I would post some pics:) I have only 2 fish in the tank....black and white wrasse and a pink polka dot gobie

Looks good :)
Thank you Ryan...I have had both my fish for 3+ years...they are both eating and have acclimated well to the new tank. Are you familiar with the different types of fish , preferably small, I could introduce into the tank? What are you putting in your cube?

Chromis are great because they swim around in the water column a lot, they bring that "life" to the tank feel. Clowns are my favorite.
Check out some Cardinal fish, Royal gamma basslet, black cap basslets. :)

I looked at the cardinal fish, I really like the Yellow Striped version:) I was also thinking that a school of Green Chromis would be really cool as well.
Where do you buy live stock? On line or from your LFS?

I took some quick pics of the new cube today...

Have the usual hair and bubble algae going on. All in all I see things growing:)

Even the Bali is putting on polyps and finally turning from green to blue...ever so slowly;)

Love to read your what you think.

Looks great! I have a 60g cube too- can't wait to set it up. What light are you using?

Awesome cube, I'm starting a 50 cube and hope to look like that one day

Thank you MermaidTail... The light is a EchotecRadion15Pro...I had to call them to help me setup the schedule and the customer service was awesome!

Thank you kazik...the rock work, acans , shrooms and fish were in 45 g prior to the cube...I purchased the bali to see if I could grow sps...then I found the frag rock at my LFS and decided that it would make a really cool spot to grow the different colored digitatis(spelling?) on....this has been a learning experience for sure but I am having fun!:)

What lighting schedule and lens are you using?
I tried to copy the schedule to no avail:mad:
If you call EcoTech support they are very good at setting the schedule to what you want your light for. I LOVE this light but I am not very tech savey
:)
