Hi new new friends and enthusiasts. I an a fancy goldfish "father" in America's Garden...Iowa. Orandas, Ranchus, Ryunkins, Black Moors, Pearl Scales. All the best from The Hawkeye State. I use spotted Cory's, Plecos and snails as the cleanup crew, and tetras, platys and other friendlies to finish the " show". 40 yrs ago I was introduced to these big fat fish, and I love how they are very responsive...getting my attention, showing off after an 80% water change and often hold them in the tank and feed peas, veggies, etc. I keep a QT set up, full time...no medium at the bottom, foam filters and a HOB filter...only floss and ceramic rings...no carbon.
