Hi, had a saltwater tank for several years when very young (helped by my pfk published uncle). Moved to freshwater once life took a hold and sapped my time, now back with saltwater for the last 3 years or so. Feels like a different hobby from all those years ago when U/G filtration was all that was on offer and protein skimmers were still new fangled bits of kits run by airstones and noisy pumps! Glad to be back and glad to be a member.

Thank you all for the great welcome! I’m loving the little family atmosphere. As I mentioned in my first post, despite all my previous years with tanks the hobby has moved on so much that I feel like an absolute new starter all over again.
