As some of you know,I bought a Canon 500D or a.k.a Canon T1i,and I am in love with this camera!So I took a drive about a week ago and took these pictures,Im going to go else where and take some more,just havent had a chance to get out and go take my pics yet!

Also-the name on the pictures is my name,A.Pekarek,A for Austin and Pekarek is obviously my last name,so thats all you need to know about me now onto pictures......

I like the photos with the open sky, but the monochromatic effect means that there's even less contrast to the image.

While you could argue that it works for the pic of the bleak, old shed, I'd throw on a polarizing filter whenever the scene has a lot of sky in it. The filter can add a touch of blue gradient to the sky and some contrast to the image when converted to black and white.

Alot of people have suggested the polarizing filter.I havent had a chance to order one,and I dont have a local camera shop,so it will have to wait a bit,I dont make a living off of this!Its just a fun hobby to have on the side!

I know what that's like. You get a camera and lens, find out you need at least a UV filter, find other filters to collect at $30+ each, a camera bag, a tripod, a nice ballhead, and then the one time purchase has snowballed into another money pit. I'm still working on getting the ballhead, myself. :)

LOL,I know!

Ive got tri pods,and I have a bag(actully a case)and I need to get some more stuff for it,but I need corals and tank stuff first....hahaha,LOL
