New Pink Streaked Wrasse - Web?

Been looking for a Pink Streaked Wrasse for a long time and am super pumped I was able to get one! Shout out to Dr Reef!

After having it spend the night in an acclimation box, I wake up this morning to see a web in the box. Anyone able to explain this to me?

Wrasses put a mucus coat around them for protection. Totally normal

Totally normal. Especially since there’s no place to hide in the box, he went ahead and made his own. You’ll find that even when they find a hole in the rocks he likes he will still make a mucus “cocoon”

Much appreciated! Excited for this fish! Doesn't seem timid at all. Is exploring the entire tank now.
