im pretty new to this amazing hobby. My Dad kept lion Fish and a big ole Oscar. My sister was a nano reefer and eel lover so it was natural for me to migrate to Sw. My wife and I purchased a drilled and super scratched up 100 gallon tank on the cheap. Watched a gazzilion YouTube’s and talked the ears off LFS owners. We have a mixed reef with mostly Zoas but have a few Acros, Acans, , devils hand, toadstools an elegance, etc. Zoas and Acro are my thing. My wife likes leathers, Acans, toadstools. Have 3 tangs and 3 clowns and a six line I wish I could catch. Aggressive little booger he is. I made my own sump out of a 30 gallon tank. Big fuge and return section. We are currently wanting to upgrade to a 200 plus system. Yep, we are hooked! Looking forward to talking shop with y’all and making even more friends who share our passion.
