Hello. I am new to saltwater tanks and i am just getting information as I want to have everything I need and know what to do before I begin. I will provide what I have on my to buy list and then have a few questions. Thank you to all who help with answers.

45 Gal Red Sea E-170 Tank/Stand
ReefLED 90 Lighting
Protein Skimmer MSK900
55 LBS Reef Saver Dry Live Rock (will only use around 40 LBS in Tank)
Thick Super Glue x3
20 Lb Special Grade Arag-Alive Reef Sand
RO/DI Water system
Brute Trash Can
Koralia Powerhead for mixing saltwater
200W Titanium Heater System
Classic Sea Salt Mix - Tropic Marin
One & Only Saltwater Live Nitrifying Bacteria - Dr Tims
Red Sea Ammonia Test Kit
Salifert Nitrate Aquarium Test Kit
24" Aquablade Glass Scraper
Piranha Float Plus
1" Pro-clean Small Tall Gravel Wash
4x8 BRS Mesh Media Bag with Drawstring
Bulk Premium ROX 0.8 Aquarium Carbon
LED Refractometer

Q1 - Do I need any additional Powerheads since it will be a Fish Only with Live Rock tank? I was thinking of getting one to help water flow ect.. But didnt know if it was necessary. If so what GPH should I get?

Q2 - Where is a good resource to look at for fish? I am mainly interested in how many fish is the right amount, as i do not want to get too many. I would prefer the fish that work for the tank eating algae and the bad things in the tank.

Q3 - Clean up crew. My kids love the crabs, snails, shrimp ect and was wondering what a good mix would be for a FOWLR tank would consist of.

Q4 - anything I missed, or should change?

Looking to buy everything to get started around end of the year or early next year. This is a family project and we are all going to pick out fish we like and help cycle the tank and set it up ect..

Thanks
Ritchie

You are correct in needing some flow
Maybe 1 or 2 of the Jebao RW 8 powerheads to keep the waste in the tank moving and keep the fish healthy with some exercise.
