Hi all, new to the hobby but I’ve been lurking on this forum for months.
I have kept Malawi cichlids for a while and now looking to venture into the SW world!
I will be getting the D-D reef pro 1500s eventually when we move house (21st march) but for now I have managed to bag a steal on FB marketplace. I have brought a RS nano max peninsula with tons of extras for £900.

I plan to use this tank for quarantine in the future, but for now I will cycle through the reef rock me and the Mrs made with live rock from the LFS and live sand. At least that way I can get to grips with the water testing etc. I will probably add some corals and clean up crew and run it as a reef tank until I get the new one, and transfer everything over.

Any tips or tricks are much appreciated I will keep this post updated as I go, the tank is coming Sunday!
