I was hoping you liked the RO as i am looking at the 150 elite, i hated my vertex 150. The thing was AMAZING.... when it worked. It overflowed for no reason more often than not in my experience and had to be adjusted every few days to skim correctly. This time around i am going with nyos, deltec or RO.

Can you go into detail non how you have your siporax in there? I noticed its stacked, do you have it in a container? Do you do any maitnence with it or just let it sit?
I had the same issue with the RO couldn't get it consistent. May of been too big and tank not old enough? The vertex has been rock steady and started working day one.

The siporax is stacked in a container I found at bed bath and beyond with my wife one day lol. It is a shower basket had a handle but I took it off. I now have two the macro reactor is sitting on the new one but I haven't filled it with siporax yet. Maybe I will in the future. I am using the larger rings also found a deal on eBay for small bulk purchase. I have move it around a few times but haven't shaken it or anything.

Terrible cellphone pic but it's all I have. The reactor strip light crapped out about three weeks ago so no more macro at the moment. Other than that pretty smooth sailing right now.

You are making me want to completely redo my rock. I just didn't have the kind of restraint necessary to stay minimal!
Yea it's pretty amazing how hard it is. For ten years I've kind of piled rocks up as much as possible. My 93 not so much but even it had four different structures. I am thinking about some caps down low on the back of each structure to help fill the center and back. Will see

Took some more phone pics. Things are growing well it seems. I am currently at about 40 mls of components. I dose two drops of ABEV phyto and AF food once a week.

I took my frag tank down last week so excuse all of the random stuff all over the sand.

WOW!! I love that you have a 120 rimless "counter top" tank lol. Looks really great and like a natural fit in the room. Impressive you built a sunroom so you could house your tank :) Dimensions are awesome too, I love deep tanks. Wish I had room and strong enough floor for one!

Anyways keep it up really looks awesome :)
