Evening folks! New here, looking forward to being part of the forum and learning! I'm cycling my first marine tank after about 8 years of freshwater.

Using Salifert tests and doing cycle with Colony.

Question re Ammonia test. Is it normal for the test to be cloudy? I may be wrongly thinking we have ammonia (<0.25) when we don't in fact have any?

Welcome to R2R! Be sure to say hello in the meet and greet section :).

I haven’t used Salifert ammonia test myself but you should be seeing a color change in your test sample, next time you test post a picture of sample against color chart and maybe we can help you determine what’s going on.
