Just mixed up a new batch of saltwater for my water change tomorrow.
I was using TMP but moved to IO Reef Crystals because of the costs and availability.
I heard people say it takes longer to mix and is full of crud. I'll say this about it so far, it took about 5 extra minutes to mix, and zero crud. So the savings I got are immediate, 5 extra minutes and saved myself 2 hours of wages by changing the salt. I see nothing but benefits so far. I guess my next move is to see if it affects the DT when I add the new water. I'm only doing a 20% water change on my 75 gallon, and will be doing the same weekly as normal. So it should take roughly a month and a half to see exactly how the IO Reef Crystals workout at 100% change over.

I'm crossing my fingers that the Reef Crystals work and do great

I agree, tropic marin is pretty overrated, especially at more than 2 or 3x the cost of reef crystals.
