New tank, new apex controller ph meter?

PH doesnt seem to move much, i just installed the apex controller. Tank has recently been set up and cycled.

is this normal? Doesnt seem to be normal movement, it stays between these numbers throughout the day.
 
Are you sure you calibrated the pH monitor correctly?
 
Its been a long time since I did my own but i'm fairly certain they offer a lower range calibration fluid too.
