New tank, new apex controller ph meter?

PH doesnt seem to move much, i just installed the apex controller. Tank has recently been set up and cycled.

is this normal? Doesnt seem to be normal movement, it stays between these numbers throughout the day.

I did automatic calibration and it failed to calibration with 10 ph solution, it never reached acceptable range.

Its been a long time since I did my own but i'm fairly certain they offer a lower range calibration fluid too.
