I currently have a 30G reef setup, and just purchased an AIO 50.3 I have a good 60lbs of old live rock that has been sitting for a good month or so dried out. My question is what is the best way to combine my current setup into the new tank and use the extra rock I have on hand..

Can I set the new tank up with the old live rock and some live sand and just let it cycle before adding my corals and current live rock? Or is there a faster better way..

We would put the dry rock in the new tank, then throw one or two wet rocks from older tank cycle it like Lance Armstrong and then put all the old stuff in the new tank.
