new tank

Me and my wife are going to start setting up our first salt water tank. She wants it set uo in our living room and it is carpeted. I am looking for suggestions on a mat or something to set the stand on?

How big of a tank are you looking to get? There will be a lot of weight to consider, even with a smaller tank. Distributing the weight across the carpet with some sort of underlayment may make it wobble with traffic.
