New tank

So I'm setting up my new 110g tank and asking for a bit of advice as to why it smells a little not to bad but bad enough to notice also a little cloudy maybe milky
I put 3 bags of live sand and mixed my own water, I put some old bio blocks in the sump along with a small piece of rock which the old owner had given me,is this causing the smell due to old organisms dying?
I've tested the water and everything seems to be okay
Ammonia 0.15
Nitrite 0
pH 8.0
I have an already established tank which I plan to move all the rockwork and fish into the new tank is it safe to do so or should I wait?hopefully skipping the cycling process and making it as little as possible, would it be possible with the tank smelling a little and being cloudy, thanks

New tanks can sometimes give off some odd odor. I wouldn't worry about it, especially when the water is currently cloudy due to a bacteria or algae bloom. The smell will disappear over time. It's still a good idea to keep the place well ventilated to offer decent gas exchange and of course remove the odor from your home.

Of course a tank will always smell a tiny bit (which you won't notice anymore after a while), but it should smell like the ocean not like a rotting pond, wet dog, or other nasty stuff

You are good to move stuff from your other tank into that one! Moving rock into that tank from your other tank will instant cycle that tank!

Running some Granular Active Carbon (GAC) can help with odors too.

Thanks I've just started doing that today, hopefully this helps with the cloudiness and smell

Thanks this is my first tank move and scared things might go wrong god help the fish die, would you recommend trying one fish at first or move the whole lot their a clownfish,tang,flame and royal gramma, also would you aclimate them even tho all the parameters are the same in the new tank thanks.
