Hi all I just set up my tank last week dry rock and live sand. Put turbo 900 in it and have been ghost feeding for a week. My parameters are ammonia.25 nitrite 1 nitrate 10 and ph 7.8. When would it be safe to add some clown fish and clean up crew?

Once Ammonia and Nitrite zero out, do a small water change, give it a day or two and re-test. If both are still at 0, you're good to go! I would keep an eye on the pH though and try to bump that to at least 8.0 first :)

I’m a little confused because I never saw the ammonia spike

With nitrate at 10, it likely did at some point! Just even out the pH and ensure the Nitrite and Ammonia are 0 - Each tank is different, so not all get cloudy and have ammonia through the roof.
