So I had to set up a new tank my 75 started to leak luck for me I did not have much in the tank. I got a fluval 13.5 and I have to say I love this tank it's been up and running since April and I finally feel like I am making good progress . Everything in the tank seems happy I know I have some issues right know and I am working on them but let me know what you guys think.

Any particular questions? I am very familiar with the evo tank. They are fun little tanks. The number 1 thing I recommend is a media basket (such as the in tank one).

Were can I get the in tank media basket and what kind of media do u use

I know in tank sells them on their site.

As for media, a bag of miqxed with carbon (I use red sea carbon as it rinses very quickly and clean) and a little bit of a phosphate remover media (or a phosphate pad whichever you prefer). I also like to put a filter pad on the top of the rack and rinse it once a day. If nitrate is an issue, there are nitrate removing medias. However, rinsing the filter pad once a day is by far the easiest way to keep the tank clean. I swap carbon once a month or so but dip in in some fresh water for 15 minutes or so every other week to clean off bacteria and what not.
