I’m buying a 20L from the LFS that has been one if there ‘sell fish from’ tanks for years so it’s setup as far as substrate goes. My question is what kind of lighting would I need to do some basic soft corals?? It’s going to start off as a FOWLR cause I only have regular LED lights for it.

Others will comment, I use in past 6500 Kelvin fluorescent about 6 of them on a 50 gallon. So what you have should be fine. But others will comment and tell you they're view.

Like I will upgrade the lights when I get familiar with saltwater an move up to a 55. I’m asking if 2 6.5ks will work an if need be I can buy crabs an snails plus more cleanings for the algae.
