Hello everyone. New to the saltwater fish and coral community. I have had freshwater my whole life. Who thought at age 51 I’d start establishing my dream aquarium? So I will be active at picking people’s brains. I am a 2 year brain cancer (Glioblastoma) survivor. And my 45 gallon is hopefully the first of many for me.

Welcome, glad you are here! Congratulations on being a cancer survivor, especially that type! 5 years last February was my last chemo. Tank looks great, make sure you create a build thread so we can follow it’s progress.

Welcome. Love that rock work, looks great. What coral are you thinking. I'm newer and can only say, don't buy to expensive. I lost a few in my learning curve. Gotta love Zoas though they are forgiving.
I don’t know yet. I want to see the options I have. I started small so i could learn more about reef setups before i got into a bigger one. Thank you for the compliment on the rock work. My wife helped…lol

Lol... yep. Just got some new coral today. And the wife picks out everything. I just smile and pay the bill.
