Welcome aboard neighbor! Some pics of skimmer in sump to see if we can help. Someone here should have the same skimmer that will give you some pointers.
 
A good cleaning of the skimmer may help (if it's dirty) if not it could be that your tank is so new that there's not much to remove!

Also, welcome home to R2R you will love it here!

Thanks guys! I really dig this forum. You guys are great help and have a lot of awesome threads that have helped me!! I think I finally got my skimmer dialed in. I'll be testing it throughout the week. I'll also post a tank thread soon.
