Hi guys,

Just getting started in the hobby. Currently in the research phase. I've settled on going with a 40b tank to start out with. Working myself through the BRS 52 weeks series on YouTube right now and browsing the classifieds and Craigslist to try saving a bit on equipment.

I look forward to joining this community!

JMFO, but go as large as you can, a 6 foot display is impressive. You won’t watch TV anymore!
Try your best to buy quality, doesn’t have to be the best, but don’t buy the cheapest.

Yea Tautog, I was pretty set on going with a 90 or 120g. But the one place it would work in the house isn't best suited for that amount of weight unfortunately! So I'll get my feet wet with a 40 and if all works out go bigger when we move in a few years.

As for quality stuff, I'm trying to research as best I can so I'll only need to buy once!
