Hello I just started my salt water tank. I have started to add coral and anemone. Any advice helps. I have a 32 gallon biocube, but I updated the light to Steve’s LED and I have no idea what I am doing. If anyone has experience of this kind of lighting I would love some advice.

Hi! Welcome to R2R! No clue about the lights, couldn’t find anything on them online either. I will tell you though that the 3 most important things for keeping coral is waterchanges weekly, stable salinity, and stable temperature. Once you have those three figured out, and do the waterchanges consistently on a schedule, you’re basically guaranteed to be successful! For your tank, I would recommend replacing 5 gallons of saltwater weekly. More if you’re having issues. And the most important thing: be open minded to opinions and advice, and always ask questions! Anyone that judges you can shut up. Have fun!

How long has your tank been running? Not sure about the LED either, but Amazon has some good PAR meters you could check to make sure you are getting good PAR to your corals.

VBR-Aqua IP68 PAR Meter for Aquarium

This is the one that I recently purchased and my corals seem to be really happy now that they are properly lit. The PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) meter allows you to know the amount of active radiation hitting any portion of the tank. You can find a lot of general coral information where you bought the coral or places like Tidal Gardens' website. https://tidalgardens.com/corals.html

Welcome to the salt side of life.
