Hello my fellow reefers, just got back in to the hobby since being out for approximately a decade and there's so much info out there, hopefully make this process a lot smoother. Just set up my new 75 gal tank and I have these hitchhikers on my live rock and was wondering if anyone can tell me what they are, good or bad. Thanks

Yeah right now is a lot of new tech and info and don't worry you will be good at this especially if you already have experience! Congratulations with your new 75 gal!

thanks everyone
So reef lover, im thinking
1. good
2 bad or a nuisance
3 good
Does that sound about right
And also will a peppermint shrimp take care of the aptasia and not be a problem for the other 2

My peppermint ate all of the aptasia over night but then it started eat corals. I had to send him back after he chowed down on my trumpet coral but he did a good job on the aptasia. I have also heard of them eating frogspawn and plate coral so target feed him daily if you get one. They have huge appetites

You can get a syringe with boiling lime water and inject at the base of the aptasia if thats the only one.

1. looks like a slightly unhappy rock anemone. 2. Not completely sold on aphasia but looks petty close. 3. Mushroom.
