Yo yo minireef.........Welcome!
That is a great intro! And an excellent way to start out I would say. You get a grasp for the level of commitment in time, money and knowledge to have the best chance of success. Don’t be daunted by the set backs and timelines. The more time you can allow between purchases and major step in setup or improvements, the more time you can devote to research livestock and methods to maintain them and then system being created.
I’m right there with you in the long haul process. Barren tank in garage for years, year+ learning and planning, a year to amass gear and build, 4 months running and no fish yet. Take time and appreciate the craft and be observant and not impulsive to react. Joining up here at R2R is a brilliant step in your journey of reef keeping. You are off to a great start, keep on keeping on!
