New to tanks but not the saltwater

So at the beginning of October I convinced my wife to let me get a tank and bought a 28g Nano-Cube from the local store for a pretty good price. I have since built it up to what you see in the Avatar. I love the reef and fish but the "sump" is impossible to clean. I've wanted a reef tank for as long as I can remember, and since I'm a Sailor stuck in the middle of Missouri I bite the bullet and jumped right into this hobby. I'm know there's a LOT for me to learn and will happily take anyone's feedback and advice.

What ya got against Wang, my Tang?

Tangs need to be in larger tanks. Usually 48-60" x 24" minimum. They are very active swimmers. Definitely not for biocubes. They also have a heavy bioload.
