Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi and I’m new to the hobby! Already have my first question and all comments are welcome. Anyone experiencing high Mg levels with aqua forest reef salt? Checked with both Salifert and Red Sea tests kits and all well above 1500‍

Using the search feature up in the toolbar, I found a few threads where others have reported high mg levels in that brand of salt. Some were much higher than yours. If you want to check those out, I simply searched for "Aquaforest magnesium". :)

Welcome to R2R! If your tank is relatively new, you might not need the high magnesium levels present in that salt mix, and may benefit from switching to another mix with lower magnesium levels.
