Hey everyone,
I've always wanted a marine tank since I was a kid but my parents were never interested in it thinking it was too much hard work for me. I kind of got tired of asking and lost interest until recently when a friend bought a freshwater tank and resparked the interest. Back then I never even knew you could keep corals, I was just attracted to the lovely colourfull fish and shimmer from the MHs. After about a month of binge watching/reading stuff and cramming as much info I could into my brain I caved and ordered a RSR300XL, build thread coming soon.

Look forward to being part of the community and hobby.

Welcome to the salty family! Good luck with the tank!
Take it slow, ask questions, expect set backs, expect it to cost twice what you thought. If you have the right perspective and attitude, it can be a great joy.
