Hey all I am new to this forum. My current set up is a 27g non drilled cube. I am not really happy at all with the setup so I have a new build that is going on so let me post some pics of that!

The tank- 35G DeepBlue cube.
Stand- custom built by me
Light- SBReef Lights 265W ramping
Skimmer- Going to use my Aquamaxx HOB-1 skimmer from my other tank for a while since its three months old.
I plan to use a 10G diy sump just to hide the equipment.

I also intend to drill this setup and use a glassholes 700GPH kit. Not sure yet on how I want to plumb it to the tank *Goal is to minimize noise as much as possible since it's in the bedroom*.

Welcome home! You will love it here!

I dig the cube, thanks for sharing!

Welcome to R2R;)

Any advice on a simple and quiet plumbing setup would be much appreciated. It's going to be a single drain from the rear mounted internal overflow *isnt installed yet*. I have read that vinyl/spa flex hose would be quieter than PVC due to the turbulent nature of a single drain design of having air and water mixing.

Welcome to R2R. Start a build thread, more people will follow and you questions will be answered there quicker

For your drain, just a single durso? I'm not the best on durso, I prefer bean style, do a search on durso and you should find plenty of threads.

Welcome to R2R @Njdevils1220 ! New tank build....you need to start a
"Member's Tank" thread to document that build....and ask all the questions you wish to ask. Just curious, with your screen name, are you originally from NJ? Again, Welcome.

Will do. I have a lot of build pics I can add to a dedicated thread. No I am not from Jersey, my entire family is though. My mom barely made it to FL before I graced the world with my presence. I'm just a die hard Devils fan. Bolts fans are far too fair weather.
