Hi, I just got a torch 2 days ago, this is the first time I get a torch and don't have much experience with LPS in general.
But my concerned is that it seems to be losing some of its flesh, I did put it in the lowest flow part today thinking that might help it.
Appreciate the feedback, it supposed to be black and yellowish and it's the most neon green thing I have seen, if that counts for anything at all to the situation.

Unfortunately it doesn't look good. Can you add more details please? How old is the tank, what are the water parameters, what type of flow and lighting? Tank pics always help

Tank is around 8 months of old, strange thing to me is that I put some of the water that came with it in my tank and SPS started receding, did 2 water changes and SPS stoped receding for now, does it drop some poison? I can test nutrients when I get home, light is pretty high made for SPS, flow is not that much, 65x and dkh has been stable between 7-7.6.
Maybe was ammonia buildup in the bag because it was in the bag for quite long, probably bagged 7-8am and I got home around 10pm.

Well I just got home and it seems less sad, I did dose a little bit of phosphorus because I realized all that water change was too much.
Will leave it in this corner until I feel it's fully happy and then will see what I will do with it.
It did seem to eat the reef roids yesterday, somewhere in the middle of the week will give it food again maybe.

If your phosphate is low, reef roids are good.
Good luck, hope he makes it. They are beautiful corals.

My light is diy using spectra for par estimates and it should get around 270 on the ground hotspot, it was made for SPS. I could run only the blue channel for a while which would be 200 par on the hotspot on the ground still, the torch is on a corner now, so would be lower. You think that would help?
